The Nordic Villa reserves the right to update and/or amend the Terms and Conditions from time to time and without notice, and you are accordingly encouraged to check the Website (www.thenordicvilla.com) regularly. Any such change will only apply to your use of this Website after the change is displayed on this Website. If you use this Website after such updated or amended Terms and Conditions have been displayed on this Website, you will be deemed to have accepted such updates or amendments.

1. Reservations

1: A room request made via the website, e-mail or phone is not confirmed until we receive the full payment by cash, bank transfer or credit card. The room is at your disposal from 3 pm on the day of arrival until 12 noon on the day of departure, unless other arrangements have been made.

2. Payment

The Nordic Villa accepts the following payment options: 

1: Bank Transfer

2: Paying with a Nigerian issued debit/credit card (Naira) or International issued VISA/MasterCard/Amercian Express

3: Online payment with Stripe (only foreign cards)

3. Room prices

1: The Nordic Villa guarantees that all reservations made online will be at the best available price for the room of your choice on the date of booking. This is our commitment to providing our customers with maximum value for money.

2: Room prices are per room, per night and are exclusive of VAT. A maximum of 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years of age are allowed in each room. Breakfast is included in the room rate. All other drinks or snacks must be paid for separately.

3: Note that hotel prices in Abuja go up based on key events and during periods of high demand. For details of our most current room prices please check our website www.thenordicvilla.com or call us directly on 0703 682 9922 (+234 703 682 9922).

4. Changing/Canceling a reservation

1: Cancellations must be made before 3 p.m 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a charge of one night’s room rate per room cancelled. Cancellation has to be made through e-mail or via phone. In case of cancellation not made in a timely maner we will send an invoice according to these terms.

2: All refunds will be processed in a timely manner. Once the refund instructions leave our office it can take anywhere from 5-20 working days for the proceeds to arrive in your account.

3: If you are an in-house guest and decide to shorten your stay, you must inform The Nordic Villa at least 24 hours before check-out. Otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked.

4: Last minute bookings, made through online travel agencies, on the day of arrival are non-refundable, and are subject to the standard cancellation terms.

5. Arrival and departure

1: Rooms are available from 3 pm on the arrival date.

2: Please let us know if you are likely to arrive after 10 pm.

3:Your room must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night’s accommodation.

6. Particular requirements

1: The Nordic Villa operates a 100% no smoking policy throughout. Smoking in a room will result in a 40.000 Naira fine.

2: On check-in we require a valid ID such as International Passport, National ID Card, Drivers License, and Permanent Voters Card. This is required by Nigerian law.

3: Although The Nordic Villa will make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements, all rooms are subject to availability. We apologise in advance if your particular requests cannot be met.

7. Breakfast

1: Breakfast is served in the dinning room between 7am and 11am on all days of the week.

8. Laundry

1: All guests can order laundry service free of charge (max 4 items per guest per day). We wash, dry and iron. Please note there is no dry-cleaning available. The Nordic Villa does not take responsibility for any damage nor shrinkage.

9. Please note

1: We regret that, with the exception of assistance dogs, no pets are allowed in The Nordic Villa.

2: Electrical appliances, such as toasters, mini cookers and portable grills, may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.

3: Reservations for rooms are non-transferable and must not, under any circumstances, be sold or otherwise transferred to a third party who is not a member of your group.

4: You must not advertise, market or otherwise offer The Nordic Villa room for sale either on its own or as part of a combined offer.

5: The Nordic Villa reserves the right to charge the guest for any damages in the room during the stay.

6: The Nordic Villa cannot be be held responsible for any personal injuries of any kind while staying at The Nordic Villa.

7: The Nordic Villa will gladly help arrange airport pickup, drop off, car hire service or taxi. This service is provided by a third party car hire service. In the unlikely event that an accident of any kind occur, The Nordic Villa can not be held responsible.
